Drone License Bootcamp
Students will participate in the basics of Part 107 regulations and drone rules. Our Drone Cadet program will help them learn the skills and techniques necessary to fly with safety and confidence. The second part is preparing for the Part 107 License Remote Pilot Certification.
Emphasis is placed on best practices and keeping safety first along with developing a basic understanding of FAA rules pertaining to the operation of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), or drones. A typical class consists of video instruction, several illustrated lessons or articles; and an interactive puzzle or a quiz. In addition, several lessons are followed by a hands-on coding or free flight, challenge, or mission
Drone Cadets For Adults
At age 16 an individual can take the FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certification Exam and become a Commercial Pilot. Drone Cadets is the first step in a Workforce Development Pathway for teens and adults to help them pass the exam, and get the practical experience necessary for a career. Even hobbyists benefit from the advanced flight skill, technology, and safety training offered by Drone Cadets.
